What to expect on the day of WIS When you realise that HDB has launched the Walk-in Selection for flats in an area that you want, then you must not procrastinate any further. You need to immediately rush down to HDB Hub as fast as you can.
If you reach HDB Hub before 8am, you will be required to join a queue first. Closer to 8am, the HDB staff will usher you into the building to get your queue number.
You will be given the following:
- HDB Application Form (with queue number)
- Brochure of the areas released for WIS (usually a pretty thick book, which contains floorplans and location maps of the available flats)
- A pink, blue and green stack of paper (these are the units available for sale and their respective prices)
You are required to fill in the application form and purchase a S$10 coupon which you need to affix onto the application form. The application form has to be submitted before 5pm on the same day.
After the Customer Service Officer verifies that the application form has been filled in correctly, he/she will print out an appointment letter for you to come on another day to select your desired flat. He/she will inform you of the time that you are required to come and also what is necessary to be brought.
