With no idea what to do on a Sunday, we decided to head down to Ikea after finding out that there was a sale going on till 4 March. We had actually only planned to get the toilet holders since we thought that if we had to spend money, we might as well start spending on little items for the house rather than wait for everything to be up and spend more at one shot.
After ploughing through Ikea for almost two hours, we left Ikea with 3 items.
1. Klubbo coffee table in black-brown colour, $68 (
usual $78)

2. Grundtal toilet roll holder, $9

3. JÄLL laundry bag, $7.90

As for the renovations, Henry has informed us that the air-conditioner needs to be up as soon as possible. This is so that painting for the whole house can commence, and painting can only start when the air-conditioner has been set up.
Like I mentioned in my earlier post, we are most likely getting Kai Soon to do up the air-conditioner for us. I called up Kai Soon today again and they mentioned that the Mitsubishi air-conditioner is the latest model - MUX20TV. Therefore, I have arranged for their aircon contractor to drop by my place tomorrow to take a look and also advise on the trunking route.
At the same time, we've confirmed with Henry that the hood, hob, sink, tap and lights can be delivered to our place already.
